THE ROLE Mosaic is searching for a passionate, teachable leader who senses a calling to invest in the next generation. As a
Youth Ministry Resident , you will step into a formative season of hands‑on ministry experience, mentorship, and spiritual development. This residency is designed for someone who wants to grow as a leader while helping middle and high school students know Jesus, experience freedom, find meaning, and join God in making the world beautiful.
This is a part time role with meaningful responsibility, a supportive team culture, and the opportunity to make a real impact.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Build relationships with students through consistent presence and intentional conversations
Help plan and lead weekly youth gatherings, events, and retreats
Support discipleship environments such as small groups and mentoring moments
Contribute to a healthy, Jesus-centered student culture
Participate in planning meetings, ministry prep, and leadership development
Assist with communication, follow‑up, and relational connections with students and parents
Serve alongside Mosaic staff during Sunday services and church‑wide events

Spiritual Qualifications
A follower of Jesus
Alignment with Mosaic’s theology and mission
A life marked by integrity, humility, and servant leadership
A teachable mindset and willingness to grow under mentorship
Desire to help students grow in a Jesus-centered life
Preferred Skills
Strong communicator (verbal + interpersonal)
Ability to lead and influence others with humility
Creative thinker who brings ideas and energy
Comfortable connecting with students and building trust
Organized and dependable with follow‑through
Collaborative and team-oriented
What We Offer Salary:
$20,800 per year
Educational Scholarship:
$2,500 annually toward biblical studies (paid to the institution or reimbursed with documentation)
Hours:
20 hours/week
PTO:
60 hours/year + paid staff holidays
You’ll also receive:
Direct mentorship from Mosaic’s Youth Pastor
Leadership development within a supportive team
Real ministry experience that builds confidence and calling
