Education LevelNone## Description**Title**: Reilly Road Worship Pastor**Reports t**o: Pastor of Worship & Arts**S****umm****ary:**The Director of Production and Reilly Road Worship Pastor will create, implement and oversee audio visual programs that effectively describe and promote The Village Baptist Church's mission. They will direct the AVL functions and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the Church. This role is also responsible for planning all worship gatherings as well as other worship events at the Reilly Road Campus.It is preferable that church employees consistently attend worship service (virtually or physically) on a regular basis. By doing so, he/she will be more in touch with the life, activities, and patterns of Village Baptist Church**.****Esse****ntial R****espons****ibil****ities:**Reilly Road Worship* Prepare and coordinate upbeat, lively, biblical worship gatherings and ensure the addition of new and relevant worship songs/elements in the services* Meet weekly with Lead Pastor to critique previous week’s service and lead weekly service meetings to plan and coordinate music, video and other program notes and details* Develop systems to create detailed service plans at least two weeks prior to the event date including musical, technical, video and other programming needs.* Recruit and train band members, vocalists, and volunteers who will participate and serve in weekend worship services as well as special events* Be knowledgeable of current music methods, materials promotion and administration in order to provide an environment for the artistic growth of all people related to the music ministry.* Ensure that overall worship services are effective and on target regarding content, style, structure and design* Maintain a strong network of relevant professionals (worship leaders, musicians, etc.)* Plan special worship events such as Christmas Eve, Easter and other special programs as assigned* Collaborate with staff team on set design, video production, service timing, graphic design, consistent branding throughout worship, and media.* Prepare and maintain the annual budget for areas of responsibility.* Maintain a vital, growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study and prayer.* Shepherd the growth of the Music & Arts ministry through intentional recruitment, delegation, mentoring, coaching, and strengthening communication and collaboration among and between various ministries.* Be intentional about pastoring your people, knowing their story and providing spiritual growth opportunities for them to deepen their faith and spiritual walk with Jesus.* Develop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the church.* Periodically represent the Pastor of Worship & Arts by leading worship at the McPherson Campus when needed.* Other Duties as Assigned by the Pastor of Worship & Arts or the Lead Pastor## Qualifications**You need to be:*** A team player* A problem solver committed to conflict resolution* Committed to excellence and quality customer service* A great manager of time / well-organized and detail oriented* Committed to the vision and values of the church* Inspirational communicator; great with interpersonal relationships* Hospitable and patient* Focused on growing spiritually and being a committed learner**Vision:**Connect People to Christ and His Family
