Cook - Early Learning Center The Early Learning Cook is responsible for providing nutritious and healthy meals for children. Meals are provided daily: breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the USDA Meal Program.
Ensure that the Health, USDA, and Licensing Standards are followed.
Ensure that all daily paperwork is completed on time.
Monitor purchasing of food, milk, and supplies within budget guidelines.
Maintain the kitchen, ensuring it is clean, sanitized, and in order.
Ensure that daily menus are followed.
Qualifications
Minimum age 18 years.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team and independently.
Maintain current Food Handlers Card.
Prior experience working in a kitchen.
YMCA Membership.
Professional development and training opportunities.
