Overview
Marcus & Millichap’s Raleigh office is expanding and seeking a driven, entrepreneurial, and capable sales professional to join our investment sales team. The role focuses on multiple product types, including multifamily, industrial, retail, and self‑storage.
Compensation This is a 100% commission‑based, 1099 independent contractor position with unlimited earning potential. Compensation is derived solely from commissions earned on successfully completed transactions. The anticipated annualized commission range is $0-500K+. Actual earnings will depend on the number and size of completed transactions.

New business development via client outreach, including cold calls (60+ calls per day), meetings, and industry event attendance.
Advising clients to achieve investment real estate goals related to valuation, acquisitions, and dispositions.
Preparing analyses of clients' properties, including Broker Opinions of Value (BOV), market comparables, and research.
Researching local market and staying up‑to‑date on industry trends.
Marketing exclusive property listings to qualified buyers.
Prospecting new client relationships and networking with other industry professionals.
Negotiating exclusive listing agreements, Letter‑of‑Intent and Purchase & Sales Agreements.
Participating in best‑in‑class training and ongoing skills‑development workshops.
