We are seeking a motivated, experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team in the Melbourne area. Position Overview The Leasing Consultant is a key point of contact for prospective residents and plays a critical role in driving occupancy across multiple communities. This role requires strong leasing expertise, marketing ability, and the capacity to perform in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment. This position includes floating between two properties to ensure consistent leasing performance and operational support across both sites.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full leasing cycle from inquiry to move‑in
Conduct property tours and effectively present community features
Drive traffic through outreach marketing and social media engagement
Create, manage, and execute 1‑2 resident events and 4‑5 outreach marketing initiatives per month
Respond promptly to leads via phone, email, and CRM systems
Maintain accurate leasing data and records in property management systems
Support with renewals, resident retention, and issue resolution
Address resident concerns by taking ownership and handling with professionalism and urgency
Collaborate with maintenance and management team to ensure a positive resident experience
Maintain organized and compliant leasing documentation
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years leasing experience required
Strong background in leasing, marketing, outreach, and social media
Experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced property management environment
Proficiency with property management systems (ResMan preferred or similar)
CRM experience required (Knock preferred)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and perform under pressure
Experience with conflict resolution and resident relations
Weekend availability required; position includes working every Saturday with one weekend off per month
Must be willing and able to float between two properties
Must be organized, disciplined, dependable and work well under pressure
