Position Summary The Jr Estimator supports the estimating team by reviewing plans, performing takeoffs, and helping build accurate project costs. This role is for someone with construction or estimating experience who wants to grow into a strong estimator.
Key Responsibilities
Review drawings and perform quantity takeoffs
Help build and organize project estimates
Track bid documents and deadlines
Work with estimators, vendors, and suppliers
Learn how jobs are built and priced
Experience We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in construction, estimating, electrical estimating, or a related role. Field experience as an electrician would also be a plus
Basic understanding of construction drawings
Experience with takeoffs, blueprints, or job costing is a plus
Comfortable with computers, spreadsheets, and learning new software
