
Coordinator, Retail Marketing (VM)

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Retail Marketing, this role is responsible for supporting Adidas retail performance by driving the seasonal VM strategy and developing and coordinating visual merchandising direction, tools, and campaign guidelines. The role ensures Global and NAM strategies are translated into clear, market‑relevant directives, enabling consistent execution across stores. This role owns planning, communication, and project management of VM initiatives, while partnering with field teams responsible for execution, training, and compliance.
Responsibilities
Create market‑specific visual merchandising guidelines aligned with Global/NAM standards
Develop floor plans and VM directives to support sales optimization and consumer journey
Define in‑store presentation direction for product launches and campaigns
Partner with the relevant teams to create clear requirements and align briefs whilst ensuring continued alignment to global/NAM visual merchandising objectives and positioning
Adapt VM training tools for market use
Incorporate field insights and best practices into VM tools and guidelines
Support new store openings through planning, tools, and coordination
Coordinate marketing campaigns and ISC briefs, including production and vendor management
Support the planning and roll out of new ISC tools across all concepts
Maintain marketing calendars, reports, and field communication tools
Track VM initiatives, timelines, and deliverables
Identify opportunities to improve tools, processes, and communication

A strong understanding of Visual Merchandising processes regarding campaign implementation and planning
Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Basic understanding of how all facets of the marketing mix can affect consumer motivation, product needs and the retail experience
A passion for the Adidas brand
Strong project management and planning skills
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to succeed in an ever‑changing and complex organization with minimal daily direction
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Required Education & Experience / Minimum Qualifications
Marketing degree or related qualification with relevant experience in a Retail Marketing role
Previous marketing experience with a consumer, fashion or retail brand
Previous event experience in a coordinator or project management role

The anticipated low and high end of the base pay range for this position is $62,000–$75,000. Actual salary will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills and competencies, proficiency for the role.
