We are seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Social Media Associate, based in New York, to support the delivery of social media activity across the Private Equity and Private Debt portfolios. This role will focus on the day-to-day execution of social campaigns and content across PEI’s corporate and brand social channels, helping to drive awareness, engagement, and campaign reach.

Working closely with the London-based Senior Marketing Manager – Social and Private Equity and Private Debt asset-class marketers, this role will support the implementation of social plans, content scheduling, publishing, reporting, and campaign amplification. The successful candidate will bring strong attention to detail, sound platform knowledge, and the ability to execute at pace across multiple priorities.

Social Media Execution

Execute day-to-day social media activity across multiple brands and campaigns in line with the strategy set by the Senior Marketing Manager – Social.

Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.

Maintain content calendars and ensure activity is delivered accurately and on time.

Support campaign rollout across product launches, editorial initiatives, events, and commercial priorities.

2. Content Development & Management

Adapt approved content for use across social channels, ensuring copy is channel-appropriate and aligned to brand guidelines.

Work with asset-class marketers, editorial, and design teams to source and prepare content assets for publishing.

Support the delivery of multimedia content including graphics, video, and other visual assets.

Ensure all posts are quality-checked, correctly tagged, and optimised before going live.

3. Campaign Support & Amplification

Support the amplification of editorial content, reports, events, webinars, and partnerships across social channels.

Coordinate with Private Equity and Private Debt marketers to ensure social activity supports wider campaign goals.

Monitor planned activity and make updates as needed to reflect campaign changes or business priorities.

Support internal amplification efforts by helping stakeholders share and extend campaign content.

4. Community Management & Monitoring

Monitor social channels for engagement opportunities, comments, and relevant industry conversations.

Escalate reputational or sensitive issues appropriately.

Support timely and professional responses where required, in line with agreed guidelines.

Track competitor and sector activity to help inform content opportunities.

5. Reporting & Optimization Support

Compile regular social performance reports covering reach, engagement, traffic, and campaign support metrics.

Assist the Social Media Lead in identifying trends, learnings, and optimisation opportunities.

Maintain reporting dashboards and ensure campaign performance data is captured consistently.

Use data and insight to inform improvements to posting, timing, and content presentation.

6. Collaboration & Coordination

Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager – Social, Private Equity and Private Debt marketers, editorial teams, and design colleagues to ensure joined-up execution.

Support smooth workflows across briefing, scheduling, approvals, publishing, and reporting.

Stay up to date with platform developments, social trends, and competitor activity.

Provide reliable executional support across multiple brands and priorities at the same time.

Key Deliverables and Success Measures

Content calendar execution across PE and PD social channels – activity delivered accurately and on schedule

Consistent publishing across key platforms – strong delivery against campaign and always-on plans

Amplification of editorial and marketing content – increased visibility and engagement for priority content

Support for campaign and event promotion – effective social delivery against campaign objectives

Regular performance reporting – timely reporting with clear and accurate data

Strong cross-team coordination – smooth execution across social, editorial, design, and marketing stakeholders

About You
Experience & Skills

Experience: 1–3 years in social media, digital marketing, content marketing, or a related execution-focused role.

Platform Knowledge: Good working knowledge of LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and other relevant social platforms.

Content Execution: Experience adapting and publishing content across multiple channels with strong attention to detail.

Coordination: Ability to manage multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Analytics: Familiarity with social media reporting tools and basic performance analysis.

Collaboration: Comfortable working closely with marketers, editorial teams, designers, and other internal stakeholders.

Communication: Strong written communication and copy-editing skills for professional audiences.

Agility: Willingness to learn, respond to feedback, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Organisation: Highly organised, dependable, and able to execute consistently across a varied workload.

This role is ideal for someone who is strong on delivery, detail, and coordination, and who wants to develop their social media expertise while supporting a broader portfolio strategy.
