We’re searching for a
proven
procurement leader
from the
wholesale foodservice or food retail distribution
industry to take ownership of
purchasing, supplier performance, and inventory health for a high‑volume, fast‑moving DC.

drive Service, Fill Rate, Shrink, and Obsolete Inventory
in a billion‑dollar environment — this role puts you at the center of the operation.
What You’ll Lead:
Oversee all
buying, supplier service, shrink, and obsolete inventory Lead and develop a team of
8-10 Buyers Own the KPIs that define customer experience:
Service + Fill Rate Build a standardized category management platform Strengthen supplier partnerships and drive accountability Improve forecasting, purchasing discipline, and inbound reliability Integrate procurement strategy with operations, finance, and sales Implement policies, processes, and systems that elevate performance Reduce waste, improve turns, and protect margin
This is a
high‑visibility, high‑impact
leadership role in a major distribution center.
Compensation & Benefits:
Earn up to $170,000 total compensation

What We’re Looking For:
10+ years
in procurement/purchasing
within wholesale foodservice or retail food distribution Deep knowledge of integrated procurement + inventory systems Proven success improving
service, fill rate, shrink, and obsolete inventory Prior supervisory/people leadership experience a must High School Diploma required (Associate/Bachelor’s preferred) CPP certification
