Sr Visual Retail Merchandising Designer
Contract Duration
: 6 months
Location:
Seattle, WA 98134 (hybrid - onsite 3 day per week and 2 days work from home)
Pay Rate : $32/hr - $38/hr on W2
Job Description
This role delivers business value by
applying creativity and the highest visual merchandising standards
to develop and create wide range,
brand-accretive visual merchandising executions and deliverables
for multiple retail store types and assortments and
helping establish consistent global merchandising standards.
Portfolio is preferred , but not required, please showcase their
digital marketing in the portfolio
if including in submittal
Visual communication design (transferrable skill)
MUST be comfortable working with ambiguity
Daily Responsibilities:
Light meetings with PM and team as needed
Reviews
Working with business partners and gathering feedback
In design,
working on schematics
Collaborate as needed
Presenting to
cross functional business partners (up to director level)
Focus on digital marketing
Technology requirements?:

Microsoft Office Suite
• Smartsheet’s
•
Proficient in Mac programs
•
Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, including programs like InDesign and Photoshop
Education :
• Degree preferred but not required as long as they have relevant exp
Years experience:
• 5+ years or relevant exp required

Mastery of visual design and styling skills
•
Interprets current trends, competition, culture, and retail landscape
with a keen eye, shaping aesthetics and details
• An
understanding of integrated marketing and its various components
• A
compelling portfolio of work
with a range of creative projects
• Excellent
presentation skills
• Proven strength in problem analysis and creative problem solving
• Great
communication and collaboration skills
•
Excellent time management skills
and team-oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate and build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and individuals

• 5+ years experience advising business and marketing teams to
build best possible product assortments and support signage
that can consistently execute in store types
