Overview We are partnered with a well-established global commodity house who are active across all major US ISOs. With a strong balance sheet and a team of veteran traders, this is an opportunity to operate at scale, take real PnL ownership, and drive results.
Responsibilities Trade proprietary prompt-to-term financial products, primarily in PJM, MISO, NYISO, and ISO NE Perform daily P&L performance analysis and review all market activities and outcomes in energy and ancillary service markets Apply in depth ISO market operations knowledge to develop bid & offer strategies Serve as the company's primary interface to provide expert market information and track market/regulatory changes Perform analysis and fundamental research related to Eastern Interconnect
Experience 5+ years of trading experience in physical and financial power Strong understanding of U.S. ISO market rules, settlement structures, congestion dynamics, and forward power markets Proficiency in Excel; Python or SQL Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field
