Job Profile Summary:
In this role, you will work in an energizing, inclusive, and creative environment focused on concepting and delivering elevated, trend-forward, and sustainable products across
Mens Knits, Sweaters, and Wovens (including Outerwear & Shirting) . You will partner cross-functionally to ensure product style, fit, quality, and value align with brand standards. This position requires a strong design point of view, customer curiosity, and a willingness to take calculated risks while driving innovation and relevance in both knit and woven categories.
Key Responsibilities: Research global markets to identify emerging seasonal trends, silhouettes, fabrics, techniques, and competitive inspiration across
knit and woven categories . Interpret fashion trends to create original design concepts encompassing style, color, and fabric for
knits, sweaters, and wovens (outerwear & shirting) . Develop and execute concepts, black & white sketches, and CADs; color-up designs for seasonal presentations. Create and present seasonal design concepts to internal leadership, ensuring alignment with brand DNA and customer expectations. Manage seasonal fabric development and coordinate
fabric orders (including woven materials)
down to the color level in partnership with sourcing and materials teams. Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Production, Technical Design, Sourcing, and Marketing to ensure seamless concept-to-market execution. Partner with Production and Technical Design to develop tech packs and communicate design intent, ensuring fit, quality, and margin targets are achieved. Provide input on fit, body blocks, and attend regular fit sessions to maintain product standards across both knit and woven garments. Prepare presentation boards, CADs, and materials for internal and external meetings (including digital tools such as Miro). Track and follow up on development of each style to ensure timely execution. Maintain strong awareness of competitors and market trends, translating insights into actionable product opportunities. Collaborate and lead key design initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience. Relevant experience in menswear design across
knits, sweaters, and wovens (outerwear and shirting preferred) . Strong sketching, CAD, and presentation skills. Solid understanding of garment construction, fit, and fabric development across multiple categories. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams. Strong trend awareness, creative vision, and attention to detail.
