Position Highlights

• Title: North American Account Manager

• Full Time: Direct Hire

Background Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automotive sales, account management, or business development.

• Proven experience working with OEM and Tier Suppliers

• Experience selling electronic products and systems is highly desired

• Strong new business development (“hunter”) mindset with track record of winning new programs.

• Experience working with advanced purchasing and engineering teams.

• Strong financial acumen with ability to support pricing, cost analysis, and cost recovery efforts.

• Experience working within global organizations and collaborating with European-based teams.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive new business development

• Build and expand relationships with purchasing, advanced engineering, and design teams.

• Identify and pursue new program opportunities ahead of RFQ release.

• Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned with global teams.

• Support cost recovery initiatives including pricing adjustments and contract improvements.

• Analyze competitive landscape and position solutions based on value—not just price.

• Collaborate with global counterparts to align on customer strategy and execution.

• Prepare and deliver customer presentations, business reviews, and commercial proposals.

• Maintain accurate account data, forecasts, and reporting metrics.
