Interim International Tax Senior Director or VP
Our client, a rapidly growing global company, is seeking an Interim VP or Senior Director of International Tax to lead the buildout and optimization of its international tax function.
This role is hybrid, at their office in San Francisco, CA. This engagement has a duration of 6-9 months.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable international tax processes, controls, and operating models
- Assess and optimize global legal entity structures for tax efficiency and compliance
- Evaluate, select, and oversee the implementation of tax technology solutions
- Lead international tax compliance efforts, including transfer pricing and local statutory filings
- Provide strategic guidance on cross-border transactions and market expansion initiatives
- Partner with finance, legal, and executive stakeholders to align tax strategy with business objectives
- Build, develop, or upskill resources to support a sustainable international tax function
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive international tax experience, including leadership roles
- Deep expertise in global tax structuring, transfer pricing, and multi-jurisdictional compliance
- Proven experience building or transforming international tax functionsExperience implementing tax technology and scalable processes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
