Job Description
Our client is a growing consumer tech company selling DTC. They are expanding into new areas and retail channels and are doing great at growth marketing. They need a brand visionary to lead the charge. The VP or Head of (Brand) Marketing will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the brand presence across all customer touchpoints, shaping a compelling brand identity, driving customer engagement, and ensuring consistent storytelling that fuels growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Positioning – Define and evolve the brand’s voice, visual identity, and market positioning to differentiate in the space.
- Campaign Development – Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, influencer, and offline channels to drive awareness, loyalty, and sales.
- Customer Insights – Leverage data, analytics, and market research to understand customer behavior and inform brand decisions.
- Content & Creative Direction – Lead creative teams to produce compelling, on‑brand content that resonates with target audiences.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership – Partner with merchandising, product, e‑commerce and retail teams to ensure brand consistency across the shopping experience.
- Performance Tracking – Establish KPIs for brand health, engagement, and conversion; optimize campaigns based on performance metrics.
- Team Development – Build, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing marketing team.
Qualifications
- ~10+ years in brand marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within retail or e‑commerce (ideally higher price‑point items).
- Proven track record of building and scaling consumer brands in a digital‑first environment.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing, social media trends, and influencer partnerships.
- Data‑driven mindset with experience using analytics tools to guide decisions.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and storytelling skills.
