Paralegal / Processor Real Estate Law 2+mos. Contract Project Aventura Law Firm
Boutique law firm in Aventura, FL is seeking an experienced Real Estate Processor / Paralegal to support its busy real estate practice for an approximate 2-3 months contract assignment. This role is expected to begin in late May or early June and continue through the end of August, with the possibility of extending into September.
This position will primarily support the firm’s new construction real estate matters, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable managing files from contract through closing in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of new construction real estate file processing from intake through post-closing
Prepare, review, and organize closing documents, title commitments, and lender packages
Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, title companies, developers, HOAs, and agents throughout the transaction
Order and review title, survey, estoppel, lien search, and payoff information
Assist with scheduling and coordinating closings
Maintain accurate file notes, calendars, deadlines, and follow-up tasks
Resolve title or document issues proactively to keep transactions on track
Support post-closing matters, including recording and file closing procedures
Communicate professionally with clients and all parties involved in the transaction
Qualifications
Prior experience as a real estate processor, closer, or real estate paralegal
Strong knowledge of Florida real estate transactions, particularly new construction closings
Experience handling estoppels, title review, payoffs, and closing packages
Familiarity with real estate closing software (experience with Accuair is a plus, but candidates with similar systemsexperience [i.e.Doubletime]are encouraged to apply)
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines independently
Professional communication and client service skillsAvailable for the full duration of the assignment
