Position Overview The Parts Counterperson is responsible for assisting both internal service technicians and retail customers with parts requests, ensuring accurate orders, and maintaining efficient parts operations. This role is critical to keeping our service department running smoothly and delivering a great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist service technicians and retail customers in selecting and ordering parts
Accurately process parts orders, returns, and warranties
Maintain organized inventory and stock levels
Receive and stock incoming parts shipments
Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely repairs
Track and follow up on special orders
Keep the parts department clean, organized, and efficient
Qualifications
Previous automotive parts experience preferred (dealership experience is a plus)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with parts systems
High attention to detail and accuracy
Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
