## Description**Role:**To assist members with their financial needs; assist members with opening new accounts, new products and services; assist with cross training staff; assist with ATM(s), Cash Recycler/Dispenser, Instant Card Machine balancing, maintenance and problem solving; assist with ensuring membership cards (consumer/business) signature cards meet auditing standards; perform a variety of duties in the branch in supporting the branch operations.**Essential Functions & Responsibilities:*** Assists with opening and closing of member's accounts, answers questions on services and products available at the Credit Union and help with member problems. Maintains member records as requested. Help minimize loss of account relationships and introduce existing members and new members to new services.* Ensures the HFCU membership account cards are completed accurately and processed timely. Review business accounts to ensure all proper documentation is received, as well as review business account signature cards. Ensures that safe deposit box procedures are followed consistently and reports reconciled timely.* May act as Vault Teller coordinating supplies for branch and other tellers. May also balance cash dispenser/recycler machine in branches where available. May assist with loading/ balancing ATM(s). May assist with maintaining Instant Issue Card machine; as well as keeping all related equipment functioning properly.* Helps train branch staff with processes, procedures, and handles basic overrides.* Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments. Sells money orders and gift cards to members. Transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. Balances cash drawer and daily transactions. Processes checks through teller capture system daily.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Performance Measurements:**1. To provide friendly, prompt, professional personal and accurate service and support to all members.2. To open new accounts, close accounts and process other related requests from members timely and accurately.3. To strive for accuracy, measurement to be determined by department manager and to be measured in employee performance evaluation goals.4. To balance cash drawer daily in accordance with HFCU Teller Standards.5. To process checks through branch capture systems accurately with minimal errors.6. To meet or exceed referral goals each month.7. To troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.8. To ensure that ATM(s), Cash Recycler/Dispensers have adequate cash supplies, and are balanced according to established procedures and assists with maintenance and problem solving.9. To cross train on other duties within area as requested.10. To maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.11. To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.12. Is responsible for compliance with all required regulations and policies, especially with all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) policies, procedures and regulations.13. To ensure safe deposit box procedures are followed consistently and reports reconciled timely.14. To assist with loading/ balancing ATM(s) and assist with maintaining Instant Issue Card machine.**Knowledge and Skills:**Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.Education:
A high school education or GED.Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.Other Skills: Able to operate a ten key calculator, typewriter and computer keyboard.
