Field Specialist – Drilling & Completion Fluids

Responsibilities
Providing on-site services by measuring, testing, supervising fluid mixing and pumping, providing technical analysis and recommendations for controlling fluid properties under broad direction.
Maintaining fluid properties on rig sites by accurate testing and managing inventory at customer well sites.
Providing effective customer service by delivering information to rig-site customers and coordinators regarding progress and implementing solutions to rig site problems.
Making sales calls on the field and field office level or accompanying Sales Representatives.
Supporting operations to provide environmentally safe drilling fluids while optimizing well-bore construction and maximizing production.
Performing other related duties as required.
Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance requirements and core values.
Qualifications
Relevant technical diploma or degree.
5-8 years of relevant industry experience and product line training in Drilling & Completion Fluids or Chemicals with customer operations in Australian fields.
HPHT and deep-water operation experience is a plus.
General product line knowledge and competency requirements outlined in BH LEARNING.
Excellent functional/technical, customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and teamworking skills.
