Product Owner II

Are you ready to join a growing team?

CTG is seeking a Product Owner II to support a Mobile & Online Agile Release Train, driving modernization efforts by migrating legacy platforms to new technology. This is a high-visibility role where you will own product direction, influence stakeholders, and deliver customer‑centric digital solutions.

Location: Buffalo, NY. Duration: 8 months.

Key Responsibilities

Own and drive

product vision, roadmap, and backlog prioritization

Act as the

voice of the customer , ensuring delivery of business value

Write and refine

user stories with clear acceptance criteria (ATDD)

Partner with Agile teams (4 developers) to

deliver iterative product enhancements

Participate in all

Agile ceremonies

(sprint planning, standups, retrospectives)

Identify risks, remove blockers, and escalating issues

as needed

Collaborate across teams to align

customer journeys and dependencies

Use

data, analytics, and design thinking

to guide decisions

Influence stakeholders, including

senior leadership , in a matrixed environment

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree +

6+ years

of product, business, or technical experience (or 10+ years combined education/experience)

Proven experience with

product ownership, backlog management, and roadmap planning

Strong

decision-making and prioritization

skills

Hands‑on experience working in

Agile environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing

competing priorities in fast‑paced environments

Knowledge of

Design Thinking, Agile, and Lean principles

Background in

digital product development or platform modernization

Experience working with

UX/design teams

Strong

communication and stakeholder management

skills
