
Client Stabilization Specialist

Job Summary
The Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) Client Stabilization Specialist is a shelter or temporary lodging site‑based position that supports individuals and families experiencing homelessness by ensuring their stabilization upon entry into the shelter.
Responsibilities
Conduct intakes into HMIS and provide education on rules, responsibilities, and resources.
Offer overall orientation while clients are in shelter or temporary lodging.
Perform face‑to‑face visits, perimeter walks, and address issues that may affect client stabilization.
Communicate with leadership and Client Care Coordinators about program violations and ensure timely resolution.
Assess and coordinate services for individuals presenting with complex substance use, mental health, housing, and medical care needs.
Complete data entry into the established data system, including violations, end‑of‑shift notes, and room checks.
Identify the need for a housing prioritization assessment for all clients.
Skills & Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 12 months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders required.
1–3 years full‑time health care related work experience with behavioral and medical crisis exposure preferred.
Valid identification required.
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) certification preferred.
Will complete CBI Peer Certification within 90 days of hire.
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (program specific).
