
SIS Paint Maintenance Specialist

Key Responsibilities
Standards Development & Implementation
Collaborate with the Paint Shop Director to develop and implement SIS Standards.
Align Paint Machine Families and provide maintenance procedure guidance.
Integrate Planning, Orange Room, and SFM to prioritize SIS activities in daily plant operations.
KPI Management & Continuous Improvement
Track and monitor all Paint Domain KPIs on a regular basis.
Ensure shops utilize standard maintenance procedures for paint equipment and process machines.
Drive continuous improvements to enhance paint KPIs.
Audits & Reviews
Coordinate and perform internal reviews, internal audits, and external audits.
Conduct 3G/5G reviews to align maintenance domain methodology with paint shop loss analysis.
Best Practices & Innovation
Support the Paint Domain in creating and implementing best practices.
Identify and integrate new innovations, tools, parts, and processes to improve performance.
Coaching & Strategic Support
Develop route maps with Domains to meet objectives efficiently.
Provide guidance to plants struggling with timing or strategy implementation.
Overall Objective
To ensure standardized, efficient, and innovative paint shop operations that consistently improve key performance indicators and align with Stellantis maintenance methodologies.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field or high school diploma with 5 years of manufacturing experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment paint shop, including at least 2 years of maintenance experience
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodology and implementation or continuous improvement systems
Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
Ability to travel within North America to support NA Region: US/CAN/MEX
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as required
Previous experience working in an automotive manufacturing unionized environment
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Maintenance / Automation Background
Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers
Must have a strong working knowledge of Paint Processes for production, maintenance, and quality
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to coach / mentor / develop team members
Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead teams
Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite Applications
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in a technical field
Previous experience working in an automotive manufacturing unionized environment
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
