The Growth Marketing Strategist drives member growth and loyalty across the full marketing hourglass from demand generation and acquisition through engagement, retention, and relationship deepening. This role focuses on developing content strategy and integrated campaigns that connect seamlessly from first touch to long term member value. This strategist ensures messaging, storytelling, and experiences work cohesively across the member lifecycle while reflecting Meritrust’s brand, financial well being promise, and member first approach. Essential Functions

Drive member growth across the full marketing hourglass and analyze campaign messaging and performance insights to identify opportunities for improvement. Recommend messaging adjustments that support stronger engagement and acquisition outcomes. Collaborate with creative partners to shape compelling narratives and experiences that reflect Meritrust’s brand voice and commitment to financial wellbeing. Review, edit, and proof marketing materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, compliance, and adherence to brand voice. This includes digital content, email campaigns, web copy, advertising, scripts, social media, and internal communications. Lead the development of creative content and campaign frameworks aligned to member life events, needs, and behaviors from prospecting and onboarding to deepening relationships. Maintain and reinforce brand voice and messaging standards across all channels, ensuring consistency in tone, positioning, and storytelling to strengthen brand recognition and trust. Work with the growth team to ensure content and campaigns are optimized for search engines to improve visibility and organic traffic. Includes, conducting keyword research, implementing on-page and off page SEO techniques and continuously monitoring and analyzing website performance. Align SEO efforts with overall marketing goals to enhance the brand’s online presence, attract more qualified leads and drive conversions. Plan and guide campaigns that bridge Acquisition and Engagement teams, ensuring continuity of messaging, experience, and performance from first interaction through ongoing engagement. Partners closely with analytics, CRM, digital and martech teams to pressure test ideas, refine concepts and ensure initiatives are grounded in insight, clearly prioritized and executed with quality. Utilize data, member insights, and performance learnings to inform content direction, campaign optimization, and future growth opportunities. Develop and refine editorial workflows, review processes, and content standards that improve efficiency while maintaining high quality marketing output. Stay up to date with new digital technologies and content strategies. Additional duties as assigned.
