Job Description
The Funding Specialist is responsible for the review of closing packages to ensure loans are fully compliant before initiating a wire to fund and/or purchase loans. This position is located in our Paramus, NJ Headquarters, this is not a remote role.
Primary Job Duties
Utilize checklist to complete pre‑funding / pre‑purchase review of closing documents
Communicate with inside staff, loan officers, settlement agents and lenders to ensure loans are funded and purchased in a timely manner
Determine all underwriting pre‑funding and pre‑purchase conditions have been satisfied
Maintain data integrity of LOS fields
Verify and balance wire amounts for daily reconciliation
Coordinate with settlement agents to ensure loans are fully disbursed
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required
Precise attention to detail
Strong time management skills, along with the ability to multitask
Must be able to work independently and part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications, specifically Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Word
The ability to work in office Monday - Friday

Target base salary range is 42 - 45K; which is based on various factors including skills and work experience.
