Description
Real Estate Development and Property Management Company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Professional to join our winning team. The Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Professional will work closely with all on‑site operations including leasing, maintenance, and marketing of our apartment community.
Requirements
Work directly with the Property Manager on the financial performance of the assigned community.
Drive leasing, occupancy, and retention performance.
Ensure all rent is collected as due and posted correctly.
Ensure all unit, move‑in, move‑out, and other leasing data is entered correctly into the on‑site property management software system.
Walk vacant units and property grounds.
Manage and distribute tenant correspondence electronically, including late‑payment notices.
Handle all maintenance requests and ordering of supplies with maintenance staff.
Market, schedule appointments, and show available units.
Create and manage Facebook Marketplace accounts for leasing.
Maintain community and resident relations.
Qualifications
High School diploma, college degree, and professional certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in multi‑unit apartment leasing, including market‑rate, vouchers, and subsidies.
Prior experience with real estate property management software (Yardi preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset, self‑starter ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Proactive, detail‑oriented work habits with a commitment to high‑quality work.
Excellent record‑keeping and file maintenance.
Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects with a sense of urgency.
