Position Overview
We are looking for a
Senior DBA
with strong expertise in
DB2
and
Snowflake , not just a traditional Oracle DBA. This role will focus heavily on performance tuning, large-scale database operations, and global support across more than twenty applications.
Required Qualifications
Strong
DB2 DBA
experience (must have)
Hands‑on experience with
Snowflake
(preferred)
8+ years in Database Administration (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
Expertise in performance tuning and optimization for OLTP and OLAP workloads
Experience with
AWS RDS, Aurora
and cloud migrations
Backup and recovery (RMAN, pgBackRest, AWS Backup)
High availability and disaster recovery (Data Guard, RAC, Always On, Replication)
Automation using Python, Shell, or PowerShell
Strong troubleshooting and production support skills
Key Responsibilities
End‑to‑end database administration across multiple platforms
Performance tuning for large‑scale enterprise applications
Manage cloud databases (AWS RDS, Aurora)
Implement security, compliance, and governance standards
Lead modernization, migrations and automation initiatives
Provide technical leadership and mentorship
