Senior Estimator

A growing commercial general contractor is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction and estimating efforts across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects. This role plays a critical leadership function in driving accurate budgets competitive bids and strong subcontractor coverage while partnering closely with project management clients and trade partners. Senior Estimator What You Will Do Lead and manage all estimating activities for commercial construction projects from conceptual through final pricing Develop and oversee detailed cost estimates budgets and bid proposals based on plans specifications and scope Manage the full bid process including solicitation scope review leveling and final pricing Analyze drawings specifications and other documentation to prepare labor material and equipment estimates Review and validate quantity takeoffs subcontractor quotes and pricing assumptions Develop bid strategies schedules and general conditions in alignment with project goals Collaborate with architects engineers consultants and clients to ensure constructible cost effective designs Provide value engineering options and cost saving alternatives throughout preconstruction Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers Track market conditions labor trends and material pricing to keep estimates current and competitive Support proposal development client presentations interviews and RFP responses Ensure smooth handoff of awarded projects to the construction team Senior Estimator What You Bring Bachelor degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering Architecture or related field Seven to ten plus years of commercial construction estimating experience Three plus years in a senior or leadership estimating role Strong knowledge of commercial construction means methods and codes Proficiency with estimating tools such as Bluebeam OST ProEst or WinEst Familiarity with scheduling and project management platforms Strong analytical organizational and leadership skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment Senior Estimator Compensation and Benefits Salary range of 100000 to 130000 depending on experience Full benefits including medical dental vision and 401k Paid time off and employee assistance program Office based role with occasional site and client visits
