About the Role The Content Performance Analyst is embedded in Global Editorial Operations (GEO) Strategy and focuses on content performance, content integrity, and quality measurement for AI-assisted production. The role unlocks data across GEO and adjacent functions (Finance, Product, and Technology) to produce decision-ready insights and executive-ready narratives that inform prioritization and leadership decisions. It also strengthens QA and measurement systems for AI-assisted content production at scale, ensuring outputs across all content verticals are consistently high-quality, defensible, and improving over time. The analyst supports QA, training, and adoption of performance insights across the organization.
Success in this role requires strong analytical discipline, sound judgment, responsiveness, and the ability to synthesize information quickly for senior audiences.
Responsibilities Data Management and Structuring
Execute recurring and ad hoc data pulls across editorial and operational systems
Reconcile inconsistencies across sources; validate, document, and socialize metric definitions, assumptions, and calculation logic
Structure datasets to align with specific strategic questions
Improve the efficiency and repeatability of recurring reporting processes
Align data practices with enterprise governance standards, including Global Operations data and analytics teams
Strategic Analytical Support
Translate leadership questions into measurable metrics and analytical plans; clearly articulate implications of findings, limitations and confidence levels
Conduct trend, variance, and performance driver analysis; identify where additional data or workflow instrumentation is needed to strengthen claims over time
Support scenario comparisons and initiative tracking
Executive Reporting and Visualization
Develop executive-ready presentations and data visualizations for strategy discussions
Convert complex analysis into concise visuals that accelerate understanding and ensure consistency in narrative structure and presentation quality
Support preparation for GEO leadership reviews and enterprise-level discussions; tailor materials for different leadership audiences and forums
Performance Monitoring
Produce recurring performance reporting aligned to strategic priorities, including AI-assisted throughput and quality signals
Track KPIs and highlight meaningful performance shifts
Support ongoing refinement of metrics as strategy evolves
Contribute to the standardization of GEO performance and QA reporting practices
Stakeholder Coordination
Partner closely with the Head of GEO Strategy to prioritize analysis
Collaborate with Editorial Operations, Finance, Metrics, Tech, Product and Data Analytics teams to gather inputs
Clarify scope to ensure outputs address the intended decision question
Requirements
2+ years of experience in analytics, operations analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
Advanced Excel skills and experience with SQL or comparable querying tools
Proficiency with BI visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and dashboarding best practices
Experience building executive-ready presentations and visual narratives in PowerPoint
Uses AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis and drafting with rigorous QA and source traceability; comfort operating in an AI-enabled environment where processes evolve rapidly
Experience assessing or improving QA/measurement systems (including for AI-assisted workflows) using practical methods (sampling, rubrics, thresholds, error taxonomies)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting strategy or executive leadership functions
Exposure to content production, publishing, or knowledge-based businesses
Familiarity with KPI frameworks and operational performance measurement

Pay Range Primary Location: Home based-Ohio $74,900 - $124,700. U.S. National Base Pay Range: $78,800 - $131,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
