Communications Outreach Specialist
Our Indiana public sector client is leading a multi‑year, federally funded rural health transformation initiative focused on strengthening healthcare delivery, workforce capacity, and health outcomes across the state. This effort supports system‑wide innovation, regional collaboration, infrastructure development, and expanded access to care for underserved and rural communities.
This role contributes directly to statewide transformation efforts aimed at improving care coordination, integrating services across the health system, and driving sustainable, equitable health outcomes in underserved regions.
Description of Duties:
The Communications Outreach Specialist will support development and execution of communication and outreach strategies aligned with statewide healthcare transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Developing written communication materials for diverse stakeholder audiences
Supporting public outreach and community engagement initiatives
Assisting with preparation of reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications
Coordinating messaging across internal teams and external partners
Supporting implementation of structured communication plans
Assisting with monitoring engagement activities and outreach effectiveness
Desired Skills and Experience:
Strong written communication skills
Experience supporting community outreach initiatives
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Working Schedule and Travel:
Hybrid – Indianapolis (on‑site 3 days), 2 days remote
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or marketing
