Job Description Summary
The Advanced Nuclear Commercial Leader (Proposal Manager) supports the organization in achieving business objectives through development of proposals, pricing strategies, and commercial deal structures for Advanced Nuclear opportunities. In this role, you will own commercial execution for small to medium complexity opportunities while supporting senior commercial leaders on larger, more strategic opportunities, including mega projects.

Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to build commercial depth and breadth through direct ownership of services opportunities while developing the business judgment, cross-functional leadership, and building commercial acumen needed to lead increasingly complex opportunities over time. You will partner across the organization to develop customer and partner offerings, address commercial and contractual issues, and support internal governance and negotiation processes. The role requires commercial expertise, sound judgment, the ability to influence across functions, and the capacity to work independently under most situations.

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead commercial execution for opportunities, including request for information, proposals, cost estimates, pricing strategies, and related deliverables

Support senior commercial leaders on larger, more complex opportunities, including mega projects

Support review of contract terms and conditions, customer purchase orders, and commercial assumptions in partnership with Contracts, Legal, Finance, and business leadership

Serve as a key commercial interface with the Global Sales Team on assigned opportunities

Partner with cross-functional teams, including Business Leaders, Project Managers, Product Managers, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Sourcing, and Account Managers, to develop compliant and competitive offerings

Develop commercial deal structures, financial models, and governance materials for internal reviews

Coordinate cross-functional inputs to align assumptions, risks, and commercial positions

Participate in customer and partner discussions and negotiations, as required

Support development of project delivery models and commercial frameworks with potential partners

Establish proposal and contract review timelines and drive on-time completion of key actions

Identify commercial risks and issues and elevate with recommended actions, as appropriate

Develop and maintain best practices on document and data management and repositories

Maintain SalesForce and applicable cost estimating tools

Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial tools, templates, and standard work

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

Minimum 5 years of directly related experience

Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required

Desired Characteristics

Commercial and financial acumen, including experience with proposals, pricing strategies, and business cases

Understanding of key financial measures, including margin, cash flow, revenue recognition, and net present value

Experience working across functions to support complex customer opportunities

Ability to influence in a matrixed organization

Strong analytical skills, including Excel-based financial modeling

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment

Experience supporting customer negotiations and internal governance processes

Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and learning agility

Demonstrated potential to grow from ownership of smaller opportunities into leadership of larger, more complex projects over time

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

Pay range: $92,800.00 - $154,700.00 with geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% in certain areas. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
