BalanceNow is a 501(c) nonprofit think tank focused on increasing diversity and inclusion in the leadership of media, government, and all leaders who make decisions on your/our behalf.
We're looking to add someone to support upcoming marketing initiatives and help us execute more efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Write clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for social media, campaigns, and marketing materials
Create informative and engaging long-form copy that underscores the importance of inclusivity and diverse representation in media
Curate and schedule content across multiple platforms on a regular basis
Adapt messaging across platforms while maintaining a consistent voice
Follow existing templates and workflows
Attend team weekly meetings and closely collaborate with the marketing team
Keep informed on emerging trends across movies and TV shows
What We're Looking For
Good long form copy skills
Ability to follow templates while adding creative input
Ability to think insightfully
Organized and consistent with content execution
Can collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals
Details: This is an unpaid internship. You will work remotely for 15 hours weekly with a flexible schedule. The duration of the internship is a minimum of 4 months to a maximum of 6 months. Team members can earn school credit, work experience in a start-up, and letters of recommendation upon completion.
