Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, proactive, and mission-driven social media & marketing Intern to help share the life and mission of the Catholic Center and Drogo’s Coffee Bar. This role is perfect for a student who loves storytelling, is comfortable with social media, and is excited to highlight authentic moments of faith, community, and student life. This role plays a key part in helping students encounter the life of the Catholic Center before they ever walk through the doors—and inviting them into spaces like Drogo’s where community naturally grows. Your work will help tell stories of faith, foster connection, and make both the mission and the community visible and inviting.

Key Responsibilities

Create engaging content for social media platforms (primarily Instagram), including:

Feed posts

Reels

Stories

Capture photo and video content at events, Masses, and student gatherings

Attend Catholic Center events regularly to gather real-time content

Assist in planning and scheduling posts in advance

Collaborate on content ideas that reflect the mission and voice of both the Catholic Center and Drogo’s coffee shop

Write captions that are engaging, clear, and aligned with each brand’s voice

Help manage and post content across two social media accounts (Catholic Center + Drogo’s)

Capture content (photos, reels, stories) for Drogo’s, highlighting products, space, and community moments

Support broader marketing needs, including:

Designing flyers, posters, and promotional materials (e.g., for retreats, events, and other programs)

Assisting with printing, cutting, and preparing materials for distribution

Helping maintain a consistent visual identity across digital and print

Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest new ideas

Help maintain a consistent posting rhythm and aesthetic across both brands

What We’re Looking For

Be a fully initiated Catholic in the communion of the Catholic Church and intentionally living out the five precepts of the Church (CCC 2041-2043).

Strong familiarity with Instagram (Reels, Stories, trends, etc.)

Creative eye for photography and/or videography

Proactive and self‑motivated—able to anticipate needs and take initiative

Organized and reliable with strong communication skills

Willingness to jump in on both digital and hands‑on marketing tasks

Ability to capture and highlight genuine, joyful moments in the community

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

Experience with Canva, Lightroom, or similar tools

Basic video editing skills

Photography experience (DSLR or iPhone‑based)

Interest in branding, marketing, or small business storytelling
