Job Description We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Ticket Sales Representative to join our team at SpiritLine Cruises & Fort Sumter Tours. This is a full-time, in-person role responsible for assisting guests with ticket purchases, providing information about offerings, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from the moment guests arrive.

Job Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist with ticket purchases for harbor cruises, tours, and special events

Provide accurate and engaging information about cruise schedules, pricing, and onboard experiences

Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions, handle cash, and issue tickets

Manage and maintain the booking system, including creating, modifying, and canceling reservations

Monitor cruise capacity in real time to prevent overbooking and ensure accurate passenger counts

Reconcile online, phone, and in-person bookings to ensure system accuracy

Input customer information accurately and securely into reservation software

Troubleshoot booking discrepancies and coordinate with management to resolve issues

Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone in a professional manner

Upsell additional experiences, packages, or upgrades when appropriate

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming ticketing area

Coordinate with dock staff and crew to ensure smooth boarding processes

Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalated when necessary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous customer service or retail experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Basic math and computer proficiency

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak tourism seasons
