The Resident Advisor serves as a key point of contact for prospective residents and their families, guiding them through the process of exploring and selecting a home at Mennonite Village. This role combines relationship-centered sales, hospitality, and community engagement to support occupancy goals while reflecting the mission and values of Mennonite Village.

What You'll Do Relationship-Centered Sales & Resident Guidance
Build and nurture authentic, trust-based relationships with prospective residents, families, current residents, team members, and community partners
Serve as a knowledgeable and compassionate guide through the inquiry, visit, and decision-making process
Respond promptly and warmly to all inquiries, including phone calls, emails, and walk-ins
Maintain consistent, thoughtful communication with leads and prospects
Support occupancy goals through consultative engagement and follow-up
Generate referrals through meaningful connections and community presence
Exceed hospitality and service expectations during tours and interactions
Marketing, Events & Community Engagement
Partner with the Sales and Marketing team to plan and execute events, outreach opportunities, and community experiences
Participate in on-site and off-site events, including occasional evenings and weekends
Assist in hosting tours, open houses, and special events
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure community spaces are presentation-ready and welcoming
Social Media & Storytelling
Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing with social media initiatives
Capture photos and videos that highlight community life, resident experiences, and events
Contribute creative ideas for engaging mission-aligned content
Help share authentic
What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications
Associate (two-year) degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Professional phone presence and customer service experience
Organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Comfort with technology, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events
Preferred Experience
Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality sales
Familiarity with CCRCs and senior care levels
Social media management experience (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
Basic photography skills and an eye for visual storytelling
Digital marketing experience
