Rate: $65-70 per hour on C2C
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps / Release Manager with Salesforce Cloud expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CI/CD pipelines, Salesforce architecture, and Salesforce case management, along with hands-on experience managing source control through GitHub. This role will focus on improving and documenting our release processes and environment management strategy within Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
Collaborate with development and admin teams to manage release cycles across multiple Salesforce environments.
Ensure seamless syncing, pushing, and pulling of metadata between environments.
Create and maintain clear, detailed documentation of processes, environment syncs, and release workflows.
Manage branching strategies in GitHub; bonus if experienced managing Salesforce metadata through GitHub.
Act as a Salesforce environment gatekeeper, maintaining clean and stable deployment processes.
Assist in resolving release-related issues and participate in Salesforce case management where needed.
Leverage tools like VSCode and Salesforce CLI for development and deployment tasks.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with CI/CD and build pipelines in a Salesforce environment.
Solid background in Salesforce architecture and administration.
Experience with Salesforce case management processes.
Proficiency in GitHub, especially with branch and environment management.
Hands-on experience using VSCode with Salesforce extensions.
Ability to create thorough documentation and logging for release processes and environment syncs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred / Bonus Skills:
Experience managing Salesforce environments via GitHub workflows.
Familiarity with DevOps tools specific to Salesforce
