Marketing and Community Relations Coordinator
(Full Time, Oswego, NY)
Overview Mozaic (a chapter of NYSARC) is looking for a full-time Marketing and Community Relations Coordinator in Oswego, NY. If you're passionate about creativity, storytelling, and making a difference through marketing, this role gives you the opportunity to shine while driving impact in the community.
Responsibilities The Marketing and Community Relations Coordinator plays a dynamic role in building meaningful connections between the agency and the community it serves. This position drives outreach efforts that strengthen relationships, share impactful stories, and expand opportunities for the people we support. The Coordinator leads the agency’s social media presence, websites, and print materials across departments, develops press releases, and brings our mission to life through creative messaging. In addition, this role plans and executes engaging fundraising and community events and collaborates on grant‑writing efforts, helping fuel growth, visibility, and long‑term impact throughout the community.
Qualifications
At least three (3) years of marketing experience.
Grant writing experience preferred.
Experience navigating and maintaining popular social media platforms required.
Experience working for a non‑profit agency preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Experience with website design and maintenance preferred.
Knowledge of OPWDD services and experience working with adults with disabilities.
Schedule Monday — Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Occasional work outside of hours may be needed for agency and after‑hours events.
Full time: 37.5 hours per week.
Location Oswego County — Fulton, NY.
Compensation Hourly rate: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience.
