Search Engine Marketing Account Manager

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and manage paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Apple Search Ads to complement integrated media strategy for large client accounts. Create, expand, and QA keyword and ad text, implement negative keyword strategy, and audit landing pages. Leverage data to extract insights for creative and audience targeting performance, execute bid optimization efforts, and maximize client KPIs. Build strategic budget allocation models, recommend optimizations, and manage $1M+ annual budgets. Design, implement, and track tests to validate new features, bid strategies, landing pages, and ads, working with analytics partners for incrementality measurement. Perform in-depth ad‑hoc and cyclical analysis of account and category performance, historical trends, and competitor insights. Mentor junior strategists, provide strategic guidance, communicate task execution and timelines, and give constructive feedback to support their growth. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. At least 3 years’ experience managing search and/or integrated digital marketing campaigns. Experience managing annual budgets of $1M or more. Proficiency with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and bid‑management platforms such as SA360, Marin, or Kenshoo. Comfortable working with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture). Strong analytical skills and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to industry best practices. Experience training, mentoring, or managing junior digital marketers. Nice to Have

E‑commerce and retail advertiser experience. Experience with cross‑channel integrated media teams. Understanding of statistical measurement and MTA/MMM attribution methodology. Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary based on education, experience, and skill level: $63,900–$147,400 annually. Salary levels: Level 1 ($63,900–$82,760), Level 2 ($82,760–$98,920), Level 3 ($98,920–$115,080), Level 4 ($115,080–$131,240), Level 5 ($131,240–$147,400). Unlimited vacation policy.
