Position Summary
The Digital Business Development Manager supports, manages, and grows digital sales for Crawford. The role is high‑visibility with significant growth opportunities. Digital platform training will be provided; the ideal candidate brings high energy, creativity, and strong leadership instincts.
Responsibilities
Directly responsible for meeting yearly eCommerce sales goals.
Develop internal and external training programs that enrich associates’ and customers’ understanding of our value‑add services.
Collaborate with outside, inside, and counter sales teams to identify customer needs and provide relevant digital solutions.
Work with purchasing, credit, and project‑management teams to identify SOP enhancements and implement solutions to improve operations.
Identify target customer opportunities using internal analytics.
Visit customers to demonstrate, implement, and troubleshoot digital capabilities.
Assist in driving incremental sales via digital platforms by partnering with the marketing team on quarterly promotions.
Build, analyze, and distribute monthly digital sales reports highlighting branch and region performance, recent wins, and opportunities.
Create and present high‑level presentations to executive teams, branch management, sales teams, strategic vendor partners, and customers.
Collaborate with regional Digital Business Development Managers to share best practices and increase adoption of eCommerce tools.
Attend Sonepar Digital meetings as required.
Qualifications
Strategic thinker capable of planning and driving sales across all customer‑facing digital platforms.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
1–3 years of sales experience.
Experience in electrical distribution is a plus.
Additional Requirements
Ability to travel 30% of the time, including occasional overnight stays.
