Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to the engineering team, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
• Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and testing of electrical engineering solutions, including Medium Voltage Transformers, Low Voltage Switchboards, and Medium Voltage Switchgear.
• Apply Expertise: Apply knowledge of medium voltage transformers, low voltage switchboards, medium voltage switchgear, relays, power distribution engineering, CAD, distribution design, and related areas to drive innovation and quality.
• Project Oversight: Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are executed on time and meet technical specifications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments such as manufacturing, sales, and quality assurance to ensure seamless product development and successful launches.

Qualifications and Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering required. MS/PhD preferred.
• PE is good to have but NOT required for this role.
• Must have 10+ years experience as an Electrical Engineer in designing or engineering power/utilities (substation) to include direct experience with NEC and NETA codes in LV/MV transformers, switchgear and panelboards.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process and procedures of LV/MV transformers, switchgear and panelboards is a big plus but not required.
• Knowledge of: UL 1066, UL 489, UL 89, UL 1558, IEEE C37
