About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator to help grow and manage a fast-scaling home, lifestyle, and product-based brand.
Location
Must be local to Lincoln / Sacramento area (or nearby). This is a hybrid role: 1–2 days/week in-person (content filming at home location) and remaining hours remote (editing, posting, backend work).
Hours
Part-Time, potential for full time: 20–40 hours per week. Flexible overall schedule, with required morning availability.
Required Availability (Important)
Must be available Monday–Friday in the mornings (approx. 7am–11am PST). This is a non-negotiable part of the role due to daily posting, content management, and time-sensitive tasks. Must be responsive during morning hours for posting, editing, and handling any storefront or content issues that arise.
What You’ll Do
Film short-form content (Reels, TikTok-style videos, Facebook content)
Edit videos using apps like CapCut, InShot, or similar
Add text overlays, hooks, captions, and trending formats
Help create high-performing hooks and viral-style content
Repurpose video content into high-quality images/screenshots for carousels and Amazon storefront usage
Design clean, aesthetic carousel slides and product-focused graphics
Organize and batch content for posting
Upload and schedule content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
Assist with Amazon storefront linking and basic monetization workflow
Troubleshoot posting issues or storefront-related problems as they arise
Stay on top of trends, sounds, and platform changes
What We’re Looking For
Experience with content creation and video editing (REQUIRED)
Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and Facebook content
Ability to turn video content into scroll-stopping images and carousel content
Familiarity with viral hooks, trends, and short-form storytelling
Comfortable filming in a home/lifestyle setting
Organized, fast-moving, and proactive
Basic understanding of affiliate marketing or Amazon storefronts (BIG plus)
Must be reliable and able to meet deadlines
Equipment & Technical Requirements
Must have access to a high-quality smartphone or camera (iPhone 15 or newer, or equivalent preferred)
Must have access to a reliable computer for editing
Must be able to upload and share large video files efficiently (Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar)
Must be comfortable working with organized shared folders
Bonus Skills (Not Required but Ideal)
Experience with ManyChat / LinkDM / engagement strategies
Graphic design experience (Canva, etc.)
Experience working with influencers or brands
Understanding of SEO captions and engagement tactics
Pay
$25–$40 per hour (depending on experience)
