We currently have an opening for a full-time Body Shop Estimator at our collision center in Randolph, MA. Primary Responsibilities
Examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage.
Utilize Mitchell Connect to create detailed repair estimates, including labor hours, parts costs, and material requirements.
Obtain necessary approvals from customers and negotiate repair costs with insurance companies.
Manage parts orders and coordinate with the shop foreman to monitor the repair process.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to document both visible and hidden damages accurately.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as an automotive, truck, or bus estimator in a collision repair facility.
Strong knowledge of repair techniques, materials, parts, and insurance claims processes.
High attention to detail and proficiency with electronic estimating software.
Preferred Qualifications
Possess (or be eligible to acquire) a Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Damage Appraiser License.
