Bell & Spina, Architects-Engineers, P.C. is a full-service mid-sized architectural firm with expertise in architecture and building sciences for the design and restoration of building enclosures. We are seeking an Architectural Designer with prior experience to join our team and work on a variety of projects for commercial, institutional and Higher Education clients focusing on the building enclosure. The desired candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day production of contract documents and assisting the Project team and the project principal with projects through construction and will have proven skills in design and construction documents, construction administration.
Requirements
An interest in the field of exterior façade, masonry, roofing & waterproofing, historic restoration of institutional, commercial and municipal buildings.
Critical thinking with ability to balance multiple assignments.
Qualifications
Associates, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
2-5 years of architectural design experience, preferably with experience in building envelope systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
Strong understanding of building materials, systems, and construction methods.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A passion for sustainable design and innovation.
