Overview
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The ECEC Center Director is responsible for program development and implementation, supervision of children and working as a team in an early childhood setting. This position is responsible for ensuring children’s social, physical, spiritual and mental development in our YMCA Early Childhood Education Center.

Qualifications
Demonstrated record of individual development
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Must meet DHR minimum requirements for Director position
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Ability to work with integrity, discretion and a professional approach
Attention to detail, accuracy and meeting deadlines. Good judgement and discretion
Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in data entry with working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
