Business Development & Sales Intern
Printerior, Saint Louis, MO, United States
About Us
Printerior is transforming manufacturing through mass production 3D printing. We operate high-throughput print farms using FDM, SLA, and SLS technologies to deliver production-grade parts in days, not months. Our vertically integrated platform combines sustainable materials, proprietary automation, and digital inventory to eliminate the need for warehousing and long lead times. We also lead in the development of large-format additive manufacturing (LFAM) for architectural and industrial-scale components.
Role Overview We’re seeking a motivated Business Development & Sales Intern to help drive top-of-funnel growth across our expanding portfolio of verticals — including architecture, medical, industrial, and consumer goods. This is a full-time, on-site summer internship (40 hrs/week, 10–12 weeks) offering hands‑on experience building a real B2B sales pipeline in advanced manufacturing, from prospecting and outreach to supporting proposals and closing activities. You’ll work directly with leadership and get a front‑row seat to how a vertically integrated manufacturing company scales commercially.
What You’ll Do
Research and qualify leads across target industries (architecture, med‑tech, aerospace, automotive, consumer products, etc.)
Build and maintain prospect lists, account maps, and contact data in our CRM
Support outbound email, LinkedIn, and call campaigns across multiple vertical brands
Help prep for trade shows and industry events (decks, one‑pagers, follow‑up sequences)
Draft tailored outreach and sales collateral for specific industries or accounts
Track engagement metrics and help refine messaging based on what’s converting
Assist in qualifying inbound inquiries and routing them to the right sales motion
Support proposal generation, quoting workflows, and customer onboarding
Contribute to competitive research and market sizing for new verticals
Partner with operations to understand capabilities, lead times, and pricing so you can sell accurately
You’re a Good Fit If You
Are studying business, marketing, communications, industrial engineering, or a related field
Are a strong writer who can adapt tone for a CTO vs. a procurement manager vs. an architect
Are comfortable with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis
Have a bias toward action — you’d rather send 20 emails than perfect one
Are genuinely curious about how things get made and how hard tech gets sold
Bonus: prior internship, club, or project experience in B2B sales, startups, or manufacturing
Extra bonus: familiarity with 3D printing, CAD, or the additive manufacturing industry
Logistics
Full‑time, on‑site
40 hours/week, 10–12 weeks
Summer 2026
Why Printerior
Own real deals and real outreach
Sell a product that actually exists and gets made in front of you
Exposure to a full commercial stack: prospecting, CRM, marketing ops, proposals, close
Work directly with founders and learn how a vertically integrated manufacturing company scales go‑to‑market
Mentorship and a fast‑paced, startup environment
