Marea is a small, fast-moving women's apparel brand and we're growing. We're looking for an Assistant Womenswear Designer who is eager to learn, ready to contribute from day one, and excited to be part of a tight-knit team where your work genuinely matters. You'll touch every part of the design process — and we want someone who leans in, asks questions, and gets things done.
What You’ll Do
Work side by side with the design team across all categories, concept through production
Create apparel sketches and technical illustrations in Adobe Illustrator
Build and maintain tech packs with precision
Attend fittings and write clear, detailed fit notes
Assist in fabric, color, and trim selectionKeep projects organized as priorities shift — and they will
Jump in wherever you're needed; on a small team, everyone pitches in
What You Bring
1–2 years of industry experience in apparel design
Proficiency in Adobe Suite, especially Illustrator
Working knowledge of apparel construction and tech packs
Sharp eye for color, fabric, and detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Collaborative to the core — you communicate openly and show up for the team
Genuine hunger to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Bonus
Knitwear and sweater design experience a plus!
