Role Description
The Assistant Womenswear Designer will contribute to researching innovative, trend‑right designs, creating sketches, developing fabrics, prints and trims, and communication with overseas partners. This is an exciting opportunity to work on all product categories (wovens, cut and sew knits, bottoms and outerwear).
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
1 – 2 years of experience in apparel design (including relevant internships).
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work well in a team and take direction from senior designers
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
Knowledge of knit and woven fabrics is a plus
Salary range for this position is $50,000-55,000 annually.
