Sales and Service Technician

Position Summary The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a hybrid role within Firestone Complete Auto Care stores, serving as a pipeline for future career growth. The role focuses on customer service, recommending products and services, performing basic vehicle services, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Pay Range: $14.40 - $21.51 per hour.

Responsibilities

Customer service, sales, and issue resolution (approximately 75%)

Basic vehicle service tasks such as oil changes, tire work, and fluid checks (approximately 25%)

Store operations including opening/closing, inventory management, and display maintenance as needed

Potential to assist Manager or act as Manager‑On‑Duty to support development

Flex between front‑end customer service and back‑shop tasks to learn all store operations

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid automobile driver’s license

Customer‑service mindset and desire for career growth

Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks

Ability to learn and operate store systems

Preferred Qualifications

Two‑year degree or completion of a non‑traditional education program, training certification, or other evidence of growth mindset

Previous consumer retail sales experience

Previous automotive experience

Previous management or supervisory experience
