Client Services & Sales Marketing Specialist

to help execute the marketing of our sponsorship and exhibit opportunities, and work directly with sponsors and exhibitors to fulfil contracted deliverables and create a positive and seamless client experience. This dynamic and cross‑functional position is ideal for an early‑career marketing professional looking to gain hands‑on exposure across multiple business functions and develop a versatile and highly transferable skill set in these areas:

Key Areas

Marketing Coordination & Execution

– Assist with campaign execution, promotional and revenue‑generating initiatives, content development, and go‑to‑market activities

Client Services / Customer Success Support

– Help drive client retention and engagement through proactive communication, contract fulfillment and coordination of deliverables

Responsibilities

Develop and execute e‑mail‑marketing campaigns to promote exhibit and sponsorship opportunities.

Track and report statistics for e‑mail sales marketing campaigns for each conference.

Coordinate the fulfilment of clients’ contracted deliverables, e.g. set up one‑on‑one meetings for sponsors at events, order branded items, and organise the exhibit hall game card and raffle.

Write and proofread sales‑related marketing materials, e.g. brochures and event websites.

Collaborate with the design team on production of exhibit & sponsorship collateral.

Create, post, and update web content for sponsorship and exhibit pages.

Develop LinkedIn social media promotions to increase event visibility and drive sponsorship and exhibit sales.

Maintain the Sponsor & Exhibitor Portal: ensure deadlines are accurate, information is posted for clients to access, and client content is uploaded by the deadlines.

Conduct market research on competitive events to identify prospective sponsors and expand the prospect database.

Assist with client requests for demographics, attendee lists, and other event statistics.

Travel to events as needed to assist with on‑site deliverables and client support.

Support Best of Show Awards programs (web design, marketing, planning)

Qualifications

1–2 years’ experience supporting sales with marketing execution: email marketing, social media (especially LinkedIn), and basic campaign coordination

Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Highly organised, proactive, and detail‑oriented – able to manage multiple campaigns, logistics, deadlines, and client deliverables simultaneously

Creative and resourceful – will bring ideas for improving campaigns, engagement, and client experience

Professional, client‑facing communication and customer‑service orientation

Responsiveness and follow‑through – strong sense of ownership in ensuring client deliverables are completed accurately and on time

Adaptable and flexible within a fast‑paced environment where priorities can shift and problem‑solving is a daily part of the job

Able to travel (around 4 trips yearly) and work sometimes long days at events.

Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.)

Familiarity with content management systems and website updates

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting

Experience with CRM systems is a plus

Compensation $25–$26 per hour (equivalent to $52,000–$54,000 per year), and eligible for performance bonus tied to revenue and profit goals.

Hybrid Work Location Mostly remote; preference for candidates living within 40 miles of Needham, Massachusetts headquarters, and able to attend in‑person team meetings (monthly or semi‑monthly) and quarterly company meetings. Some overnight travel required to manage on‑site execution at our events (up to 4 trips annually).
