
Graphic Designer, Team Sports

What You’ll Do
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join the Team Sports creative team. You will work under the direction of the Senior Designer, providing design and creative solutions for marketing campaigns across basketball, football, volleyball and soccer, including partnerships with the NFL, NBA, WNBA, Caitlin Clark, NCAA, and the AVP. You will analyze briefs, collaborate on creative executions, and develop and present design solutions for highly visible campaigns.
Specific Responsibilities
Partner with the Senior Designer, marketing teams, and internal designers to develop campaigns and creative executions from concept to production.
Conceptualize high‑level campaign strategy and build visual centers for 360 teams and agencies to execute on.
Design across mediums including digital, social, D2C, marketing sell‑in, activations/events, POP, packaging, and other specialty projects assigned by the Senior Designer and Project Manager.
Work with internal and external photographers on campaign and product photoshoots, including shoots with Wilson Advisory Staff.
Collaborate with copywriters on strategy, details, background, layouts and client direction for various projects.
Coordinate with Production Staff to define specifications for quoting and bidding of various projects within defined design perimeters to ensure quality and proper execution.
Provide marketing with cost estimates on a project‑by‑project basis regarding outside costs involved.
Implement and maintain Macintosh computers as a design and production tool to achieve creative and cost‑saving company goals; learn software updates and enhancements.
Work with the Project Manager to maintain job status and time‑manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For This role requires an Associate’s Degree in Graphics or a related area; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of in‑house or agency graphic design experience and a solid portfolio of previous work.
Other Qualifications Include
Examples of campaign‑level strategy work and design build‑out.
Excellent working knowledge of Mac computers and Adobe software – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma and related design tools.
Basic working knowledge of photography and lighting.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Basic understanding of print production.
Strong attention to detail and organizational and project management skills.
Strong communication skills to present information, respond to questions and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
Motion and video design abilities preferred.
Photography and video knowledge preferred.
Experiential design experience with brand retail or event activations preferred.
What We’ll Provide Pay range: $65,000–$75,000 per year, plus competitive bonus program.
