Proposal Coordinator – Northern California
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in proposal coordination, based in Northern California.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and exceptional writing and oral presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with department members and internal clients to research, evaluate, and develop marketing opportunities.
Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work individually or as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to collect and synthesize information from various technical teams to produce persuasive proposals and marketing collateral.
Associate degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field (a bachelor’s degree is preferable but not required). Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Strong MS Office Suite skills and knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
Experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry is highly preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Support the Northern California region in meeting acquisition goals by creating and coordinating multi‑discipline proposals in line with ESA’s strategic plans.
Manage multiple proposals concurrently and meet tight client deadlines.
Streamline and monitor the client‑management process; review, distribute, and track marketing leads.
Collect data, maintain records, and generate reports using CRM software; maintain internal qualifications and resume library.
Assist with prime and sub‑consultant coordination for pursuits and lead preparation for shortlist interviews.
Participate in regular marketing and business‑development meetings; identify cross‑discipline and cross‑regional opportunities.
Support strategic marketing programs, including conference and event participation.
